Andrea Bozóki was born in Szeged, Hungary in 1964. She has been active in her hometown as a concerting artist and a pedagogue.

She founded the guitar faculty at the Szeged Conservatory (now SZTE Béla Bartók Faculty of Arts) and the Vantus Istvan Highschool of Music where she is professor at the time being. The initiation of secondary and elementary education in Szeged resulted in the town becoming one of the important venues of classical guitar in Hungary.

She holds a DLA (Doctor of Liberal Arts) degree from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music Budapest.

Her activity as a concerting artist and a professor includes masterclasses and concerts in Szeged, Hungary, and abroad. She is regular head and member of various international competition juries in Hungary, Serbia and Romania.

In 1991 she was guest professor at Eastern Oregon State College, USA.

Her repertory ranges from the early to contemporary music; she has played pieces by a number of Hungarian composers. She makes arrangements from different instruments to the guitar and she is very fond of playing chamber music.
